This six week class is an introduction to the potters wheel and basic glazing techniques.

This class comes with 6 hours of open studio practice time each week as well as glaze hours as needed.

You will learn the fundamentals of

• Centering clay on the potters wheel

• Pulling clay walls

• Shaping of the clay

• applying glaze to your wheel thrown pieces

• this class is usually taken twice before moving to the intermediate level where you will learn more advanced techniques
